Pay Rate:

$17.50 We are currently hiring for the above hours. Specific workdays may vary and will be discussed during the interview process. Flexible availability is preferred. Valid North Carolina PPSB Security Guard Registration Required. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed Manage access control systems to authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Utilize CCTV surveillance equipment to monitor activity across key areas and identify potential security threats Respond promptly to emergencies by executing established procedures, including fire safety, medical incidents, or security breaches Write detailed incident reports documenting observations, actions taken, and outcomes for future reference Perform background checks on new personnel or visitors as part of security clearance processes Operate emergency response tools such as AED (Automated External Defibrillator), Taser, and firearms where legally permitted and trained Skills Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and manual handling of security equipment Experience in law enforcement or military service is highly advantageous Certified in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and fire safety procedures Skilled in conflict de-escalation and conflict management to handle challenging situations professionally Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical security duties requiring stamina and strength Familiarity with access control systems and performing background checks for personnel screening Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with staff and visitors Embark on a rewarding career where your vigilance makes a real difference!
