Job Description
Hiring Monday thru Friday, 2nd shift (3 pm - 11 pm). Manage 24-hour Crisis Line. Document and track all crisis line calls and client interactions and respond appropriately. Assess client needs and offer assistance in every manner practical. Follow all policies and procedures of Safe Haven. Review Policy & guidelines with clients at the time of entrance. Prepare rooms for clients. Maintain a calm shelter environment; and assist in keeping the shelter clean and free of spills, trash, and safety hazards. Prepare intake packages. Receive and put away donations on your shift. Perform other duties as assigned by the Shelter and Services Director. Provide an immediate and professional response to any security /safety emergency or disturbance within or immediately outside the facility.
