ACE-HTI is growing, and we're looking for experienced Low Voltage Technicians who are ready to take the next step in their career. We're especially interested in technicians who can work independently, troubleshoot systems, communicate with customers, and take the lead on installations and service calls. ACE-HTI works with both commercial and residential customers throughout the Triad.

Our work includes:

Fire Alarm Security & Intrusion Access Control CCTV / Video Surveillance Audio / Video Structured Cabling If you have experience in one or more of these areas and take pride in doing quality work, we'd love to talk with you. What You'll Do As an experienced Low Voltage Technician / Lead Installer, you'll install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of life safety and low voltage systems.

Responsibilities include:

Leading and completing installations of fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, audio/video, and structured cabling systems. Troubleshooting system issues and providing effective solutions. Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project drawings. Performing system programming and setup when applicable to your area of expertise. Training and assisting less-experienced technicians. Communicating with customers, project managers, and team members. Completing accurate project documentation and technician notes. Maintaining a professional appearance and representing ACE-HTI positively in the field. Following company policies, safety standards, and ACE-HTI's Core Values. What We're Looking For Previous experience in the low voltage industry. Experience with one or more of the following: fire alarm, security, intrusion, access control, CCTV, structured cabling, networking, or audio/video. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project drawings. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work. Ability to lead and work effectively with other technicians. Strong communication and customer service skills. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Valid North Carolina Driver's License with a good driving record. Ability to pass a criminal background check as required by the North Carolina Alarm Systems Licensing Board. Physical Requirements Ability to climb ladders and scaffold. Lift 50 pounds or more. Stand, kneel, crouch, and work in attics and crawl spaces when necessary. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions.
