As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors at a government corrections location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials, control entry and exit in accordance with established procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and document actions taken according to site procedures. Maintain required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and support a professional, respectful environment for all individuals at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card or license. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
