As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized individuals by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, entrances, and parking areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns. Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following post orders and applicable procedures. Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, movement, and visitor activity in accordance with site policies. Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card or license is preferred. A valid firearms permit is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
