PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location. Manage front desk operations by greeting and directing visitors, maintaining visitor records, and communicating applicable access requirements. Monitor entrances, cameras, alarms, and/or other security-related systems from a stationary post, reporting unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Assist with access control, badge verification, package and delivery coordination, and visitor support while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
