FULL-TIME UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to join our Lincoln team full time at a dedicated client site. This is not a roving patrol position. You will be assigned to one location, working the same post every shift, which means you will get to know the site, the people, and the routine of it. The schedule is a consistent five-day rotation, Thursday through Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off. You will know your hours well in advance and they do not change week to week. Much of this role is visitor entry and access control, so you are often the first person someone sees when they arrive. It is ideal for someone who values customer service, is attentive to detail, and takes pride in creating a safe, welcoming environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Manage visitor entry, including greeting arrivals, verifying identification, issuing badges, and logging entry and exit Control access to the facility in accordance with client post orders Maintain a consistent, visible, and professional presence at your assigned post Monitor the site for safety concerns or suspicious activity Greet and professionally engage with employees, residents, and guests Serve as a calm, approachable resource to those on site Document observations and incidents using mobile reporting tools Follow post orders and supervisor instructions Communicate clearly with your team and supervisor about any issues Maintain a clean and organized post throughout the shift

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Must be 21 years of age or older High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the site Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong verbal and written communication skills A professional, customer-focused approach at all times Comfortable using mobile apps for incident reporting Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Availability to work the full Thursday through Monday schedule consistently, including weekends Physically able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
