RiverWoods Durham, a resident-centered CCRC in Durham, NH, is seeking a Part-Time Saturday Overnight Security team member. In this role, you will monitor building access, perform regular safety rounds, respond to resident calls, and document incidents to ensure a safe, secure environment. You'll operate security systems, enforce community policies, partner with nursing and resident services, and assist in emergencies. Responsibilities Monitor entrances, exits, and overall building access during overnight shifts Conduct routine safety and security rounds throughout the campus and buildings Respond promptly and professionally to resident calls and concerns Document incidents, safety issues, and unusual activity accurately Operate and monitor security and alarm systems as needed Enforce community safety and security policies and procedures Assist staff and emergency responders during medical or safety emergencies Provide a visible, reassuring presence for residents and visitors Communicate effectively with nursing, facilities, and resident services teams Report maintenance or safety hazards to appropriate departments Required Skills Incident reporting Access control monitoring Use of security systems and alarms Patrol and surveillance Emergency response support Basic computer and documentation skills Radio and phone communication Conflict de-escalation Observation and situational awareness Knowledge of safety and evacuation procedures
