Requirements :
Previous Law Enforcement experience Possess one of the following valid NJ certifications: 1. Retired Police Officer (RPO) 2. Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) 3. CCW with a Security Officer Registration Act (SORA)
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED Valid New Jersey Drivers License Knowledge and/or experience with monitoring and control of adolescents Must be physically fit, mobile and flexible with the ability to run, jog and climb stairs Ability to restrain students and quickly respond to an emergency situation Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time in performance of job functions Ability to conduct extensive motorized patrols of district schools and related properties and sit for extended periods of time Must be able to work in the elements Ability to read and write English Understanding attitude while working with students and staff Basic computer skills Ability to exercise independent judgment Position is in accordance with Teamsters contract Email To A Friend Print Version
