On-Call Security Tiny Security Protection Jersey City, NJ Job Details Part-time From $17 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication Guard Card Patrolling SORA Emergency response procedures Incident report writing Physical security incident reporting Full Job Description On-Call / Per Diem Security Officer Tiny Security Protection Services is currently seeking reliable and professional On-Call / Per Diem Security Officers to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to pick up additional security shifts and who have flexibility in their schedule. Position Type On-Call / Per Diem This is not a guaranteed full-time position or guaranteed weekly schedule. Officers will be contacted as shifts become available based on call-outs, staffing needs, additional coverage, special assignments, and events. Responsibilities Maintain a professional security presence Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas Monitor entrances, exits, and surrounding property Observe and report suspicious activity Complete clear and accurate shift/incident reports Follow all post orders and company procedures Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies Maintain professional communication with residents, clients, staff, and management Requirements Valid and active SORA license Reliable transportation or ability to reliably report to assigned locations Professional appearance and demeanor Strong communication skills Ability to write clear and detailed security reports Must be dependable and punctual Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Must be available for some short-notice assignments Weekend and/or overnight availability is strongly preferred Scheduling On-call officers may be offered: Call-out coverage Weekend shifts Overnight shifts Special events Temporary additional coverage Open shifts due to vacations or scheduling changes Accepting an on-call position does not guarantee a specific number of hours per week. However, dependable officers who consistently accept assignments may be considered for permanent openings as they become available. What We're Looking For We are looking for dependable officers who actually want to work and are comfortable with an on-call schedule. If you are contacted for an available assignment, we expect timely communication regarding whether you can accept the shift.
