Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Jersey City, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations. Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken. Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
