Job Duties:
Assist with activities regarding guest and team member safety, gaming regulations and company policies and procedures. Help enforce local, state, and federal regulations and aid when needed. Write incident reports, ensuring accurate handling of information according to company standards. Perform guest identification checks to ensure proper age of guests playing or drinking at the casino. Provide comfort and initiate medical response to ill or injured persons within company guidelines. Stay informed of the company's safety and emergency action procedures. Dispatch security personnel and or outside emergency services as required. Complete all Security department paperwork in a timely and efficient manner. Immediately report unsafe conditions and employee or guest accidents to a supervisor or Security. Assist guest and team members with their lost and found items. Be able to understand and interpret rules and procedures. Conduct arrests, investigations, inspections, interviews, and other duties as required throughout the casino environment. Provide daily protection of company assets. Ability to think creatively and work with supervisors, peers, and other subordinates on a team approach to solve problems which cross departmental boundaries. Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Previous security experience preferred .
Additional Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age Any operation of a motorized company vehicle(s) or equipment will require a DMV printout and will be requested at the time of submission of application for company insurance purposes. Speak, read, and write the English language. Skilled in operating a personal computer and related software including the Microsoft Office Suite, proprietary programs and any other computer programs or devices as may become necessary. Must be willing and able to engage in physical activity on all levels up to and including physical confrontations. The ability to remain calm during adverse situations. Work outdoors during inclement weather conditions including but not limited to, shoveling snow, and withstanding hot and or cold conditions. Ability to use personal protective equipment. Ability to deal with inebriated customers in a courteous manner. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
