Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Access Management in Inwood, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a public school district location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members while carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, directing individuals to appropriate offices or locations as needed.

Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to school representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
