About Us Snoop Investigations & Security is one of the fastest-growing security companies in the Hudson Valley. We are expanding our school security team and seeking professional, reliable, and motivated individuals to join us in providing a safe and secure learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. Position Overview School Security Officers play a critical role in maintaining a safe and orderly school environment. Officers will patrol premises, monitor for safety concerns, and serve as a visible and approachable presence for students and staff. Responsibilities Carry out safety and security procedures, including site-specific policies and emergency response protocols Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with students, staff, and visitors Conduct routine and random patrols of school grounds, entrances, and perimeters Monitor for suspicious activity, disturbances, or unauthorized access Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or critical situations Complete incident reports and communicate safety concerns to supervisors or law enforcement when needed Minimum Requirements At least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED Must hold a valid New York State Security Guard License Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods Good physical condition to meet the demands of the role Preferred Experience (one or more): 2+ years of full-time law enforcement experience 2+ years of military service (honorable discharge) 3+ years of school security officer experience Perks & Benefits $25.90/hour starting pay Weekly pay with direct deposit Free uniforms and training Flexible scheduling (part-time & per-diem available) Life insurance coverage Career growth opportunities with a rapidly expanding company Equal Opportunity Employer Snoop Investigations & Security values diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive, team-oriented workplace.
