In this on-site role, you will conduct interior and exterior patrols, manage access control, monitor security systems, and respond to alarms, disturbances, and medical emergencies. Officers support hospital staff with safety checks, visitor management, and professional customer service, while documenting incidents and daily activities. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to ensure safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors Control access to facilities, verify identification, and enforce hospital security policies Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing assistance and coordinating with medical staff and law enforcement as needed Conduct safety inspections, report hazards, and complete detailed incident and daily activity reports Assist with visitor management, wayfinding, and customer-service-oriented support Operate security systems including CCTV, access control, and communication equipment Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations and lockdowns Uphold Securitas standards of professionalism, integrity, and vigilance on every shift Required Skills Access control procedures Incident reporting and documentation CCTV and surveillance monitoring Emergency response and de-escalation Radio and security communication protocols Report writing and documentation software Basic computer literacy Customer service in high-stress environments Patrol techniques and observation skills Knowledge of safety and security regulations in healthcare settings
