Silver Star Protection Group is dedicated to delivering customized security solutions to meet diverse client needs. Position Overview The Security Guard is responsible for providing security services at a client site(s) during scheduled shifts. The guard's schedule, site assignments, and hours are subject to change based on client needs, staffing requirements, call-offs, and contract adjustments. While SSPG strives to accommodate preferred schedules, flexibility is essential for the role. Key Responsibilities- Provide security services at the assigned client site(s), ensuring the safety and security of personnel, premises, and assets.
- Be available to work various shifts and client sites as needed. Schedule and locations may change depending on client needs, staffing requirements, or other operational factors.
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients, visitors, and staff. Ensure that all communication fosters a positive and secure environment.
- Conduct regular patrols of the assigned site and monitor surveillance equipment, ensuring adherence to the client's security protocols.
- Accurately document any incidents, security breaches, or irregularities, and promptly report them to the appropriate personnel for follow-up.
- Additional duties as assigned by Silver Star leadership team. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Active OPOTA Required.
- Must own a firearm with a level 2 retention holster or higher.
- Previous armed security or related experience preferred.
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
- Capability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies. Schedule and Availability
- Guards are expected to work scheduled shifts at their assigned client sites.
- Shifts, site assignments, and schedules are subject to change based on client and SSPG needs.
- Flexibility is required to work additional shifts, including on-call or emergency coverage when needed. Benefits
