OPOTA FIREARMS 20-HOUR BASIC CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer for a temporary contract and to join our team after the temporary contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Unarmed rate:

$15/hr

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Create reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Warn violators of rule infractions and apprehend or evict violators if necessary
• Escort individuals to specified locations when required

Skills:

• Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and surveillance techniques
• Strong conflict management skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
• Possession of relevant security certificates or willingness to obtain them
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies
• Background in law enforcement is a plus Prior Military highly recommended to apply!
