Job Description
OSS Inc., an established contract security guard company with over 50 years experience, is looking for dependable, hard-working security officers in the New Philadelphia, OH area. OSS Inc. security guards are fully uniformed, unarmed and trained. Security experience required. $18.00 per hour.
Requirements:
- Twenty one years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work additional shifts as deemed necessary
- Ability to speak and write English
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- The ability to with stand hot and cold temperatures.
- Pass background check
- Valid Driver's License Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the safety and security of the site and visitors through regular rounding of the premises and monitoring of cameras.
- Making a weekly schedule for a staff of guards
- Turning in an accurate weekly payroll schedule
- Lead a staff of 5 guards as well as issuing reprimands when required
- Escorting employees and visitors to various sites on the premises when needed.
- Responding to and assisting in emergency situations.
- Completing incident reports when required.
- Completing tasks as required by the client.
- Signing visitors in and out of facility
