Job Description
Job Summary One Security Company is hiring dependable Security Professionals to join our Reedsport, Oregon team. This position focuses on safeguarding client properties, responding to incidents, and maintaining site integrity. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism under pressure, and the ability to communicate effectively with the public, clients, and emergency responders. Responsibilities Patrol and monitor assigned sites for irregular activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized persons. Respond to and document incidents clearly and promptly. Maintain strong communication with emergency responders (police, fire, medical) and the client as needed. Provide professional customer service while enforcing property rules. Demonstrate effective de-escalation and a trauma-informed approach when interacting with individuals in crisis. Complete accurate, timely digital incident and shift reports. Uphold One Security Company's standards of integrity, accountability, and professionalism at all times. Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and consistent in performance. Ability to engage respectfully with the public and clients, even in high-stress situations. Experience or training in de-escalation, conflict resolution, or trauma-informed care preferred. Comfortable using basic mobile apps and digital reporting tools. Physically able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods in varied weather conditions. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed). Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to pass a background check per Oregon DPSST licensing standards. Must obtain or currently hold a valid DPSST Unarmed Security Certification.
