Job Title:

Security Contractor (1099 Independent Contractor)

Compensation:

$30.00 - $32.60/hour, depending on assignment

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and observant Armed Security Contractor to maintain a safe and secure environment. In this role, you will monitor premises, manage access points, and respond promptly to incidents, providing a visible presence that deters threats and promotes safety. This position requires strong attention to detail, and sound judgment. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not a W-2 employee role. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and licensing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol assigned areas on foot Control access points Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs Communicate effectively with team members, management, and emergency services when necessary

Qualifications:

Previous security experience required Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally

Requirements:

Must be dependable and punctual Oregon DPSST Armed Certification Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to stay alert and attentive Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Valid driver's license
