Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, patrons, and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Armed Security Officer will utilize their training and experience in law enforcement and conflict management to ensure safety protocols are followed. Must be 21 years old and have a PA Drivers License. Second and Third shift openings only. Duties Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Operate CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to monitor activities. Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any irregularities or safety hazards. Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports. Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential threats. Skills Act 235 PA Armed Security Officer Certification Required. Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques; certification is highly desirable. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
