Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Incident Reporting in Camp Hill, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. Use your customer service and communication skills while working with computer or tablet-based systems. Full Time Pay Rate:
$16.00 / Hour Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes, but is not limited to: Navigating operating systems and software applications.

Utilizing email and communication tools effectively.

Performing basic troubleshooting for common technical issues. Customer Service Experience (B219):

Candidates must possess prior customer service experience.

This includes:
  • Engaging with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Resolving customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Demonstrating strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):

Candidates must demonstrate prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee and visitor access badges.

Alarm Panel Experience (B202):

Applicants should have experience operating alarm panels, including knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, and troubleshooting procedures. Familiarity with various alarm systems is preferred.

PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.

Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with healthcare staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
