As an Access Control Officer at an educational location, you will help maintain a welcoming environment by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and supporting authorized entry for students, staff, and visitors. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain visitor sign-in procedures in accordance with campus policies. Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned campus buildings, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate professionally with campus personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
