This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can help guide the day-to-day activities of the security team while maintaining a strong focus on safety, security, professionalism, and consistent application of site procedures. Important Schedule & Training Requirement This position is designated for 2nd Shift at $23.50 per hour . The selected candidate must be available to complete approximately six months of training on the 10:00 AM-6:00 PM shift before transitioning to the assigned 2nd Shift schedule. Candidates should ensure they can accommodate the training schedule before applying. What You'll Do As a Team Lead, you'll work alongside the Security team while providing day-to-day guidance and support.

You'll:

Support and coordinate daily Security Officer activities. Help ensure established security procedures and site requirements are consistently followed. Control facility access and verify employees, contractors, and visitors. Conduct facility patrols and routine security checks. Monitor cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems. Operate metal detectors, handheld scanners, X-ray equipment, and other security equipment. Assist with visitor check-in, screening, and escorts. Respond to alarms, incidents, and security-related concerns. Provide guidance and support to Security Officers during the shift. Assist with incident reports and required security documentation. Communicate effectively with Security leadership and other departments. Help maintain a professional, safe, and secure work environment. What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required. Previous security experience strongly preferred. Previous lead or supervisory experience is a plus. Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills. Ability to provide direction and work effectively with a team. Basic computer skills and ability to complete required documentation. Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in an active industrial environment. Ability to work the required 10:00 AM-6:00 PM training schedule for approximately six months before transitioning to 2nd Shift.

Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, conduct searches of persons and packages, and perform the physical requirements associated with the position. Employment is subject to applicable ITAR and NAID requirements and successful completion of required pre-employment screening, which may include a background and credit check, drug screening, and physical examination.
