PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions needing attention. Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help manage access, assist with directions, and support a professional environment for patients and visitors. Support Allied Universal and site personnel during medical emergencies, alarms, and/or urgent situations by following post orders and relaying information to the appropriate contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations. Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
