Responsibilities Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by executing established procedures such as fire safety protocols, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response plans Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities with clarity and accuracy Perform background checks on new personnel or vendors as part of the screening process to ensure compliance with security policies Manage conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety Conduct physical security measures including heavy lifting when necessary, manual handling tasks, and ensuring proper use of security equipment such as Tasers or firearms where legally permitted Requirements Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement with a strong understanding of physical security principles and surveillance techniques Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with emergency response procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and effectively Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, incident report writing, and loss prevention strategies Skilled in conflict de-escalation, conflict management, and law enforcement collaboration when needed Strong observational skills with attention to detail for patrolling and conducting background checks Ability to adhere strictly to all security regulations and compliance standards while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times Join us in creating a secure environment where safety meets exceptional service!
