Part Time Pay Rate:
$17.00 / Hour Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors. Alarm Panel Experience (B202) Candidates must demonstrate experience in operating and managing alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm protocols, troubleshooting, and responding to alarm events. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing digital communication tools. Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner. Loss Prevention (B210) Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices is required. Candidates should be knowledgeable about theft prevention techniques, inventory management, and safety protocols.

AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records in accordance with site procedures. Control access to distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and other restricted locations; report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with access control and badges is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
