Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Duties Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items are hygienic and ready for use. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup. Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, pans, and dishware safely according to kitchen health and safety standards. Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning dishwashing stations and surrounding areas. Assist in food handling activities while adhering to food safety management protocols. Skills Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen setting. Ability to operate various kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and cleaning tools safely. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items comfortably. Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Basic knife skills for assisting with food prep tasks when necessary. Understanding of kitchen health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in cleaning routines and food safety compliance.
