Duties Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems to maintain constant oversight of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property, including interior and exterior areas, to identify potential security risks or breaches. Control entry points by verifying identities, performing background checks when necessary, and managing visitor logs. Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by following established procedures, including performing first aid or CPR if needed. Write detailed incident reports documenting any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches for review and follow-up. Assist with conflict de-escalation and manage difficult situations with professionalism and calmness. Support compliance with all security regulations, policies, and procedures to uphold the integrity of the security program. Qualifications Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable; military background is a plus. Knowledge of CCTV surveillance, access control systems, emergency response procedures, and incident report writing. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use preferred; training provided if necessary. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for equipment or safety purposes. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage conflict management situations effectively. Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, patrol large areas, and perform physical security duties safely. Familiarity with fire safety protocols, heavy lifting techniques, and compliance standards related to security operations.
