Full Job Description Cybersecurity Technical Lead:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Cybersecurity Technical Lead for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client's Richmond office.
Job Description:
The Cybersecurity Technical Lead will spearhead the operational delivery and technical execution of cybersecurity initiatives across various domains such as DevSecOps, Identity Management, and Security Architecture. This role involves guiding solution design, establishing standards, and making risk-informed decisions to address complex cybersecurity challenges.
Responsibilities:
Lead operational delivery and technical execution across cybersecurity domains Provide technical coaching and mentorship to team members Review and approve technical designs and security standards Partner with stakeholders to evaluate requirements and assess risks Lead identity security capabilities and third-party cybersecurity risk management Conduct and oversee cybersecurity risk assessments Support Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) functions Lead the DevSecOps function and collaborate with stakeholders Provide technical leadership for secure adoption of emerging technologies Drive operational excellence through automation and continuous improvement
Mandatory Skills:
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related discipline 7+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity and related domains Professional cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP Experience leading multidisciplinary cybersecurity teams Strong understanding of cloud security, application security, and risk management Experience in Identity Security, GRC, and DevSecOps Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with AI Security and Emerging Technologies Familiarity with Third-Party Risk Management Knowledge of business engagement and stakeholder partnership Experience in risk assessment and risk management Strong teamwork and accessibility skills
