Job Description Medallion Protective Services is seeking reliable and professional Overnight Security Officer to join our team at a packing industrial/warehouse facility in Salinas, California . This is a fixed-post overnight security position with remote supervision. We are searching for dependable, vigilant, observant, professional, and comfortable working independently during overnight hours. The primary security concerns at this location include trespassing, fence cutting, and theft of property . The officer will be responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring the property, documenting activity, and promptly reporting any suspicious or unauthorized activity. Responsibilities Maintain a professional security presence at the assigned fixed post. Monitor the property for trespassing, unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and potential theft. Conduct security checks of the property as directed. Monitor and report any damage to fencing, gates, buildings, equipment, or other property. Respond appropriately to security-related incidents and notify the appropriate contacts. Complete accurate and detailed daily activity and incident reports. Maintain clear communication with supervisors and designated client contacts. Follow all company and site-specific security procedures. Work independently while maintaining communication with remote supervision. Remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift. Requirements Current California BSIS Guard Card required. Valid Drivers License Reliable transportation to and from the assigned location. Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Strong communication skills. Good report-writing and documentation skills. Professional appearance and conduct. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to remain alert and attentive during an overnight shift. Preferred Qualifications Previous security experience. Warehouse, industrial, commercial, or patrol security experience. Experience responding to trespassing, theft, or property-related security concerns. Experience working an overnight security post.
