Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed - Health Care in Greer, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Hour Job Schedule:
This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
