Job Description
Summary The Security Guard II is a position within the security and protective service field of work. Guards in this classification generally provide security services protecting people, facilities, government property, and mission operations. The Security Guard II is able to perform a variety of fixed-post, mobile, or foot patrols controlling access, monitoring security systems, screening vehicles and packages, and responding to incidents and emergencies, while maintaining situational awareness and making decisions and/or taking actions consistent with established post orders, facility rules, guidelines and protocols. Full-time, part-time, and on-call shifts may be available. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of security/civilian law enforcement experience OR an equivalent position with the United States Armed Forces (military). Must be fluent in speaking and writing in English. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
