is required for site entry. Position Summary We are seeking qualified and dependable Armed Security Officers to help maintain a safe and secure environment at Holston Army Ammunition Plant. This position plays a critical role in protecting personnel, property, and facilities while responding effectively to both routine and emergency situations. The ideal candidate will possess strong security awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while working independently or as part of a team. Minimum Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be at least 21 years of age High School Diploma or GED required Valid driver's license required Minimum of three (3) years of security experience preferred Must possess a State of Tennessee Armed Security Officer License Must successfully pass: State and local background checks National Agency Check, Local & Credit (NACLC) investigation Random drug screenings and annual background investigations Employees are required to report all violations, including traffic citations and arrests. Physical Fitness Requirements Candidates must successfully complete both pre-employment and annual physical fitness testing, including: 1.5-mile run within 17 minutes, 30 seconds 19 push-ups within 2 minutes Firearms Qualification Applicants must be able to qualify with a 9mm firearm prior to assignment and maintain semi-annual qualification standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide security and protection for client personnel and property Enforce site regulations and directives regarding personnel, visitors, and premises Respond appropriately to routine and emergency situations Maintain post assignments for 8-16-hour shifts while wearing duty gear and personal protective equipment weighing up to 30 pounds, including a ballistic vest Work outdoors in all weather conditions Properly use personal protective equipment designed for chemical, biological, and radiological protection Communicate effectively through written, verbal, audible, and visible methods Operate both independently and as part of a response team Maintain mental alertness, sound judgment, and decision-making abilities during emergency conditions Perform physical activities including bending, climbing, crawling, sprinting, stair ascent, and defensive actions while wearing protective equipment Endure prolonged emergency situations both mentally and physically Appearance Standards (Army-Regulated Position) This position requires strict compliance with U.S. Army appearance regulations, including AR 190-56 and

AR 670-1.

Visible tattoos in prohibited areas — including the face, neck, ears, and hands — as well as ear gauges, are not permitted.
