PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entry and exit points, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, trespassing, and other policy violations; document observations and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel. Maintain required armed post equipment and complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess an armed guard card or license. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
