Job Description As a Security Officer Level III Armed Patrol in Edinburg, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter. Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, helping to deter theft, vandalism, and other unauthorized activity. Complete required reports and maintain accurate records of incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
