This dynamic role combines security responsibilities with essential maintenance tasks, providing a safe environment for staff, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in physical security, emergency response procedures, and maintenance operations, with a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Duties Conduct comprehensive patrols of the premises using CCTV surveillance systems to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards. Perform routine maintenance checks on security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarms, fire safety devices, and lighting systems; report any malfunctions promptly. Respond swiftly to emergency situations including fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches by following established emergency response procedures. Write detailed incident reports documenting any security or safety issues encountered during the shift; escalate concerns to appropriate authorities when necessary. Proven experience in physical security roles such as military service, law enforcement, or private security firms. Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV operation and access control systems. Familiarity with emergency response procedures including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, first aid certification, and fire safety protocols. Ability to perform conflict de-escalation and conflict management techniques effectively in high-pressure situations. Strong understanding of security regulations related to physical security measures, incident reporting, and confidentiality protocols. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while maintaining alertness during overnight shifts.
