Description Position Summary :
The Security Officer is responsible for providing a safe and secure work environment for all Team Members by enforcing company policies and procedures. Expectations of all
Team Members :
Observe and enforce all company personnel, quality, safety and food safety policies. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, coworkers and leadership teams. Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practices and enforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout the organization. Does not leave the premises until job is complete. Follows all company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Check ID cards of all persons entering the plant area. Log all visitors in and out. Patrol assigned area on foot or in company vehicle, checking for unauthorized persons, safety hazards, contraband, and violations of company policy. Monitor parked vehicles and write parking tickets if found noncompliance. Monitor foot traffic for non-employees on the property and remove loiters or suspicious persons. Control traffic and assist in any evacuation of the processing plant. Maintain telephone by relaying messages or transferrin calls. Complete and/or maintain all required logs and reports. Check property removal slips and chicken orders. Investigate automobile accidents in the parking areas. Remove terminated and/or unauthorized persons from company property. Must have basic computer skills. Must complete compliance of authorized entries for sanitation employees. Customer service as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Maintain a strong working relationship with local law enforcement. Reviewing camera footage throughout the shift to monitor all locations throughout complex. Operate the security company vehicle within the state laws and company policy. Other duties as assigned. EOE, Including Disability/Vets
