COMMISSIONED SECURITY OFFICER

April Sound Property Owners Association is seeking a part-time commissioned officer for our security services department. The ideal candidate will be professional, hard-working, and have the ability to work well with others, be able to demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow in the security industry and will be flexible with their work hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages secure gate entrance to residential community. Secures premises by patrolling in vehicle or on foot as needed. Respond to various emergency incidents. Utilize access control and CCTV equipment. Prepares logs and reports. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrate strong written, verbal and telephone communication skills.

REQUIRMENTS

U.S. Citizen 25 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. Fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English. Driving record free of violations Pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug test. Ability to meet and maintain any applicable, state, county and municipal licensing requirements. Must be able to work on weekends and evenings as needed during peak times of business.
