Responsibilities Lead the installation and configuration of low-voltage electrical security systems, including alarm, access control, CCTV, and sensor networks. Troubleshoot complex issues related to physical security systems, ensuring rapid resolution to minimize downtime. Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to facilitate precise system setup and modifications. Oversee system design processes to meet client specifications while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Conduct field service visits for maintenance, upgrades, and emergency repairs across multiple sites. Provide technical troubleshooting support for equipment failures involving computer hardware, cabling, and network connectivity. Manage team workflows, assign tasks effectively, and ensure adherence to safety protocols during installations. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, schematics, and service reports for compliance and future reference. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician specializing in electrical security systems or related fields. Must speak Spanish & English Strong mechanical knowledge combined with practical experience in field service operations. Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting alarm & access control systems along with surveillance solutions such as CCTV. Extensive understanding of computer hardware integration within security systems and familiarity with computer networking principles. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately. Skilled in low-voltage electrical wiring, cabling techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools safely. Knowledge of fire alarm systems and low-voltage electrical systems installation standards (NEC compliance preferred). Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics for system design or troubleshooting purposes. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professional support. Valid experience in electrical security system installation involving door security system integration and remote access software setup.
