We are currently accepting applications for School Security Officers in the Houston area . If you are dedicated to safety and committed to making a difference in your community, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies or security incidents, including conflicts or unauthorized access attempts Enforce school security policies by verifying visitor credentials and controlling access points with professionalism and courtesy Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed incident reports and supporting investigations Conduct first aid and CPR when required, ensuring immediate assistance during medical emergencies Manage loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities and preventing theft or vandalism on campus Maintain detailed records of daily security activities, incident reports, and shift logs to ensure accountability and transparency Requirements Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security with a focus on active patrols and incident response Valid certification in first aid, CPR, and conflict management techniques Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies within an educational setting Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts effectively and professionally Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, staff, visitors, and emergency responders Physical fitness to stand, walk, or respond quickly across school grounds for extended periods Join us in creating a safe learning environment where students can focus on their education without concern.
