PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and support established material movement and restricted-area protocols in accordance with site procedures. Communicate with supervisors, site personnel, and/or first responders regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues, while completing required reports in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card and/or license is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
