Why This Role Matters The Guard II is responsible for enforcing security regulations and procedures to prevent breaches, monitoring controlled areas, and responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies using independent judgment and discretion. The role requires specialized security training and involves assessing situations, maintaining control or surveillance, and coordinating with the appropriate authorities when needed. Additionally, the position regularly interacts with customers and vehicle carriers to oversee secure movement, access, and after-hours deliveries.

What You Will Do Makes complete patrols and visible checks of the entire grounds; documents findings and ensures security logbook entries are accurate and current.

Unlocks facility entrances and monitors, logs, and controls all persons entering and leaving the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC).

Directs customers and car carriers, provides customer service, and responds to questions regarding POV shipping, storage, and pickup. Monitors POV parking, loading, unloading, and key control for inbound and outbound POVs. Verifies and documents POV condition and shipping requirements, including vehicle inspection, measurements, mileage, and receiving/shipping documentation. Parks, stages, and safely drives POVs while ensuring proper identification and minimizing damage or injury.

Enforces, observes, and reports security incidents, emergencies, and regulatory violations to the appropriate authority.

Assists in training new security guards and supports the implementation and enforcement of security procedures and improvements.

What You Bring You bring at least one (1) year of facility security experience and the ability to exercise sound judgment while enforcing security procedures and responding to incidents. You are detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of maintaining secure access, monitoring vehicle movement, and supporting a safe and compliant environment.

Education & Experience High School Diploma/GED and one (1) year relevant experience in facility security/surveillance required. Skills & Abilities Possess the ability to pass a background check and drug test. Have a valid driver's license and be insurable under Didlake's automobile policy. Requirements include but are not limited to a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving and being at least 25 years old.
