Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Coordination in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will drive and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and support visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help maintain an orderly environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
