Stafford, VA Job Overview We are seeking reliable, professional, and observant Security Officers to provide a highly visible security presence at a commercial property in the Stafford area. This assignment focuses on monitoring a restricted property, deterring unauthorized access, and maintaining a safe environment through proactive patrols and detailed reporting. Looking for employees who are able to start August 10, 2026. Responsibilities Maintain a visible security presence from designated patrol locations. Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of assigned areas. Monitor for trespassers, suspicious persons, suspicious vehicles, and other unusual activity. Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas. Complete accurate daily logs and incident documentation. Notify management and/or law enforcement of suspicious or emergency situations. Follow all company policies, post orders, and emergency procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company. Requirements Must possess a current Virginia Unarmed Security Officer Guard Card Strong observation and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR to respond effectively during medical emergencies. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with security protocols, including access control procedures and emergency response plans. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and observe keenly during shifts. Additional qualifications such as law enforcement training or military background are a plus.

Pay:

$17.50 - $18.00 per hour
