Duties Conduct continuous surveillance using CCTV systems and perform regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches. Control access points through advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond swiftly to emergency situations by executing established emergency response procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other occurrences to ensure accurate record-keeping and follow-up actions. Perform background checks on new hires or visitors as part of security screening processes to uphold safety standards. Manage physical security measures such as manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies. De-escalate conflicts using conflict management techniques while maintaining professionalism and compliance with security regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a strong understanding of physical security protocols. Demonstrated proficiency in surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control systems. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is highly desirable. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting when required. Excellent incident report writing skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation of events. Knowledge of emergency response procedures and fire safety regulations applicable to security operations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict de-escalation effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor. Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings in compliance with legal standards.
