Responsibilities Coordinate the intake, triage, and assignment of security-related vendor requests Track request status and follow up with supporting teams to help ensure timely progress Communicate requirements, updates, and outcomes clearly to internal stakeholders across security, IT, procurement, legal, and business teams Serve as a central point of contact for vendor security operations support Help align stakeholders on request requirements, progress, and next steps Support process improvements, documentation updates, and light automation opportunities Manage multiple concurrent requests while maintaining accuracy and accountability Use sound judgment to interpret request details and system outputs when information is incomplete or unclear Skills Experience in an operations or coordination role Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong judgment and the ability to ask thoughtful questions in ambiguous situations Comfort translating requests, process details, and system outputs into clear action steps Demonstrated ability to manage several priorities at once in a fast-moving environment Attention to detail and follow-through in tracking tasks and updates Familiarity with information security concepts, including governance, risk, and compliance Experience with business process improvement or workflow coordination Ability to collaborate across teams and adapt to changing priorities Experience using Jira and Google Workspace Preferred Skills Experience supporting third-party risk management or vendor security processes Exposure to corporate security, product security, or infrastructure security topics Experience creating or supporting light automations Basic scripting knowledge in Python or JavaScript Experience on a business operations or service coordination team Interest in improving processes, documentation, and operational efficiency Horizontal is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where diverse perspectives are valued, respected, and empowered to contribute.
