Job Description
Position #259-CLS-07-26 Campus Security Wenatchee High School 8 hours per day
- 191 days per year
Salary:
$25.16- 27.
- Monitor and patrol school grounds, buildings, and parking areas to ensure a secure environment.
- Enforce school policies and regulations, addressing any violations fairly and consistently.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, providing assistance and coordinating with school administration.
- Conduct regular inspections of school facilities, identifying and reporting potential safety hazards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols and emergency response plans.
- Provide support and guidance to students, staff, and visitors regarding safety procedures and policies.
- Collaborate with school administration, law enforcement, and community organizations to promote a safe school climate.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, reports, and security activities.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities related to security and safety.
- Foster positive relationships with students and staff to encourage open communication regarding safety concerns. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in security, law enforcement, or related fields preferred.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
