Job Description
Job Overview:
Please do not call about this position. The California Grand Casino is recruiting for Customer Relations Agents (surveillance and patrol associates). No prior experience needed . As a key point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering positive relationships. All employees must be 21 years of age. Successful candidates will have experience in customer service related positions, not security and will have excellent attendance. Expected schedule Friday through Tuesday 9 pm- 5 am Nights and weekends are required Our agents patrol assigned areas and watch surveillance monitors to ensure protection of clients, visitors, and property.
Responsibilities:
- Stand at post and be visible or sit in Guard shack and watch surveillance
- Monitor video surveillance as per post orders
- Watch for cars pulling in and make sure that occupants enter the casino
- Follow Post Orders
- Respond to reasonable business related customer service requests
- Respond to customer disturbances and safety issues
- Generate incident reports as needed
- Maintain and submit Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, Accident Reports, Hazard Reports, and Condition Reports (reports must be legible, and routed to Supervisor for distribution)
- Work under direct supervision of Security Director and general supervision of Casino Management
- Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional grooming
- Maintain professional communication with clients and patrons
- Respond to emergency calls including security, medical, fire and damage to property
- Use two-way hand-held radio to communicate with supervisor and other agents
Qualification Requirements:
- Obtain and maintain a valid State Guard Registration (guard card) from the state of California
- at hire, must possess prior to starting work.
- Be fluent in English (Fluency in other languages in addition to English is a plus.)
- Pass a background check (performed by the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Dept.)
- Be able to read, write and understand and execute written orders, policies, procedures, instructions and handle requests and compile security reports for management
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills , and take initiative in completing assigned tasks
- Be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
- except for breaks, this is primarily a standing/walking post .
