Job Description

SUMMARY:
Ensuring the safety and protection of the guests, fellow team members, property, and the assets of San Pablo Lytton Casino. The Surveillance Agent observes all activities within the perimeter of the Casino San Pablo property. The Surveillance Agent documents all activities on videotape. Furthermore, maintains the safety and security of those tapes and other records in the manner set forth in the Policy and Procedures of Security/Surveillance Manual.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
( Includes but not limited to the following) Operation and maintenance of all surveillance equipment. Maintains video documentation of all events involving persons, equipment and property of the Casino San Pablo. Perform video footage reviews for authorized parties. Positions the surveillance cameras to cover the areas that need observation for either immediate visual study or to cover areas that need to be stored for future observation. Scans the gaming floor, restaurants, exits and entrance and outside areas for inappropriate behavior of customers and team members. Reports all discrepancies to the appropriate persons, via appropriate documentation. Documents all reportable incidents as thoroughly as is possible by way of written correspondence and video downloads. Prepares reports and assists in special assignments as directed Uses computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software in performing work assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Surveillance Operators are held to the highest standards of conduct. They must be honest, dependable, and punctual. They must have strong powers of observation and excellent recall. The Casino San Pablo Surveillance team shall be above reproach and will, at all times, whether on duty or off duty, maintain an irrefutable sense of integrity. They will never engage in any activity that will bring discredit to the owners, management or other team members of Casino San Pablo.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. No previous experience in the surveillance field or electronics required. Must be 21 years of age.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS A
Gaming License shall be granted after successful completion of a background check.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit, squat, stand and/or walk. Must be able to lift between 40 - 80 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Should be able to adapt well to the casino environment, involving large numbers of people, loud and continuous high noise level. Must also be able to psychologically handle the concepts of persons occupying an establishment for the purposes of gambling, drinking, and eating for long periods of time.
